The one adaption I read was the Collin Classics,translated by Sir Richard Burton.I bought it as it seemed looked like a read that would take some time so as to pass time.But the strong and vivid details got me and by the end of it I found myself in a desert,in middle of nowhere and that too felt familiar as though I was there with the characters all the time.Go ahead,give it a shot.

I know Agatha wrote many mysteries and few are extremely popular but this one has definitely captured my heart.Its yet another killer from the Queen of Crime.

No doubt it was meant to be a bestseller. Thank god many have already read it but if you haven't read this you are really missing on a lot because this book helps you realize the destiny that mostly just waits for you forever. Moving.This gem will help you dream. Should be required reading for entire human race.

After having read the other two books,'And the Mountains echoed' and 'The Kite Runner',I knew I had to read this irresistible creation. A thought provoking and mind blowing read,only hardest of hearts can fail to move.A saga of two women fighting against all odds, after having faced them,this shows us that behind every burqa there is a human being. His lyrical way of writing makes you feel as though you aren't reading this story but it is itself narrating it.No doubt he is a master storyteller who keeps you captivated and in the end and later you feel like you had been a small part of the character's lives,feeling their pain and blemishes,carrying them around with you until it finishes. Being unimaginably heart rending,at the end a few shed tears for the heroines or smile unknowingly at their endurance and strength. Sometimes I feel the three novels written by him are all part of one,reminding the world of what Afghanistan has gone through and that you won't find a single person their alive who hasn't lost something. In spite of all this and the fact that they are fictional, we know that these books are the most ravishing examples of Afghanistan's strength and suffering.

One of Agatha Christi's finest,this book is meant to be read and cherished. I had read it a few years back and in spite of being beware of the twist,I thought of reading it and living it again. Believe me it never disappoints you.

One of the classics,this book can't be ignored.It has certain flair along with outstanding calmness about it.About a fisherman who just won't give up,essentially a fable.Everything about it is almost perfect.

She isn't an unsung heroine.Not anymore.I know it is unlikely and impossible but after reading I couldn't help but wish to meet Sehmat Khan. Moreover I read it just before the movie was released so it did leave a new shade on me.All in all it is one of the best portrayals of beauty and power of a woman.

Somewhat agreeing what has been a popular opinion that this book is not Dan Brown's best creation,it would be no lie if i say it falls short in expectations of his avid fans (including me). Yet let me remind us all that this is the Dan Brown so we did know it was going to be intriguing and you can bet he did redefine possibilities.I couldn't sleep for two consecutive nights just to make sure I read each and every page as quickly as possible.Just like expected it took my breath away quite frequently. So if you are giving his books a first shot go for the others and later think about this one. All in all it is a sensational and an astonishing piece of art.

Amazingly simple yet enchanting .This book comes into existence when words are not enough (literally).

A pleasing read.The way Mrs. Khanna drifts off and her uncanny comparisons are absolutely hilarious.The story line seamlessly goes ahead but the ends don't seem to meet,yet I feel the play of words was fantastic and almost unreal. Well as far as her other book, 'Mrs.Funnybones' is concerned there can be no comparison.I believe both of them along with 'Legend of Laxmi Prasad 'are amazing books that need recognition.
