My husband and I were excited about a new Justified show to watch but this Justified is NOTHING LIKE the original series! The only semblance of the original Justified is that it has Raylan in it. The story line is terrible. No character development. So many things to say about this version of Justified. First, why the explicit sex scene in the first episode...? Second, I am from Detroit and there is no way a 15 year old girl is going to walk around that city alone and make it back to her hotel without incident. Also, Raylan and his Detroit gang weren't worried too much about her walking around that dilapidated city alone. Her biggest danger is when she got back to the hotel...??? Third, Raylan and his love interest Carolyn have ZERO chemistry. It is an absolutely unbelievable romantic connection especially given Raylan's past love interests. Fourth, the villain Clement, is a ruthless short tempered murderer some of the time but somewhat of an idiot at other times. His character development is terrible. I could go on and on about how this is the complete opposite of the first Justified, but you probably get the point.
