Don't be fooled by the name! The name of the show is so deceitful. 1) Despite the name, the contestants DID NOT outlast anything. They endured a few weeks in Alaska and then had to race to a finish line on a final challenge to win the prize money. 2) It was clear that the contestants were expecting to survive utilizing their skills. Unfortunately it was CLEARLY not the game they thought they signed up for. There are many other reasons why I hated this show, but these are the main two. I would have had much less issue with the show had it been named something else and had it been described correctly.
