terrible movie with terrible nepotism. the questions we should be asking is 1) how did adam sandler allow his 14 year old daughter to get lip fillers, and 2) what plastic surgeon needs to be disbarred for such terrible work no less on a child?
this movie attempts to show jewish culture and jewish references in a good light but the references are made so poorly and on the surface without any context – non-jews are not going to get anything.
the people that made this film don't have a great understanding of judaism and just presented this jewish tradition through the los angeles rich person portal which is not common for most jews around the world. most jewish kids are not talking about lip fillers, going to expensive schools, etc. also, interesting how barely any of the jewish characters were played by jewish actors/actresses. they tried to do this weird diversity checklist for the cast but anybody actually educated about judaism knows that the global jewry is extremely diverse with jews from every corner of the world, and they simply could have cast actual jews rather than non-jews pretending to be intermarried/converted/half jews in order to make the cast diverse. jews are diverse on their own.
oh and the main girl can't act to save her life. all i could focus on was the malfunctioning lip filler. her lip movements are so awful.
