This book was well outside my regular reading zone.
I really enjoyed this, it was a joy to read, so real and vivid, yet unexpected. I don't really have the words to give justice, but my mother lives this as well
Patchett is an amazing writer, I'd never heard of her prior to this, a little research reveals how well regarded she is.
I must have been living under the husk of dead books.
