Such a wonderfully bright and cheery film with a lot of heart and important beautiful storytelling. Discussing the trauma of girlhood being ripped away by real life and expectations of womanhood in such overt and subliminal tones is amazing. The only thing that wasn’t as enjoyable was some ovbious product placement from Chevrolet but otherwise a very fun and important time. Hi Barbies!!! 🩷
