This is a standup show, showing love, compassion, hurts, and the love of the towns for their neighbors. It’s very rare to see a man like Jack, who takes responsibility for what he knows is his responsibility, and that was when Charmaine claimed that she was pregnant by him. He did not abandon her, but at all cost of losing Mel, he wanted to be there for Charmaine as well. I applaud Mel for person recognizing and supporting the fact that Jack needed to be a standup guy and be responsible for his future children. I appreciate the fact that she supported him, in being there for his children. As it turns out, Charmaine’s babies are not his. I shed many tears for Jack, seeing what all he was going through and the pressure that he endured to the point that he broke up with Mel and I cried for Mel too, because she waited so long to tell him how she felt and then to have her heart broken. I’m glad that they came back together and I can’t wait to see what season 5 holds.
