LYX in portraying Run Yu was phenomenal. He's my favourite character till the end. The development in his character for the bad is understandable. I always found myself crying only in his scenes. He did what he did because of the pent up anger and frustration. Being looked down on, bullied, accused, tortured by his mother during childhood and the list goes on would really drive someone insane! Throughout the series, I felt Xu Feng is quite ignorant to RY's feelings. He always tell him that what RY's doing is heinous and evil. But, where was he when he was suffering? He never comforted him when he's mom died. Instead, keep asking him to let go of Jin Mi which he has no right since the marriage was actually arranged 4000 years ago and wasn't XF's woman rightfully. And, he also knew that RY has actual feelings for her. He's pretty selfish in some ways. Though RY lied about some things to JM, I don't think he lied about his feelings for her. He did SOOO much for her. Manipulative? Maybe. But, that was partly how he survived through all things thrown to him by the Heavenly Empress and those who saw him shallow. Anyways, love AOL. Everyone's acting in here is amazing ❤️
