Historically inaccurate and trying to force modern culture and sentiment into a history piece. A massive failure

They brought back one of the best shows in television history to utterly destroy it. Truly the worst ending in the history of television. While the season has bright spots overall seemed like a different show. The show runners seemed more focused on pushing odd political messaging than writing a great story that made audiences fall in love with this gritty true crime story. Such wasted potential and should have left well enough alone. Outside of Dexter and Harrison not a single character was memorable. A total bust, although it does give one confidence that anyone who wants to become a Hollywood writer can do it if they know the right people as it really does take no talent at all.
