AMAZINGLY LOVELY!!! What a truly magical book... I really don't know where to begin. I have been an avid reader for many years and have read thousands of books. There is nothing like finding a book that can move you and this one just became my favorite... There are so many different aspects to a book to make it memorable and Counting by 7's has it all. A wonderful main character that is both likeable and lovable. And you truly feel for her as she struggles through her journey. The story is incredibly moving, the characters are endearing and the plot is well done. What also makes this book so spectacular is the writing style. The perfect line that I read in a previous review regarding this story stated "I want to hug some of her lines." So well put. When you have an author that can place words together, even in the smallest of sentences, that touch you deeply you don't easily forget. There are so many in this book, that I started taking photos on my iPhone to revisit later. I hated for the book to end, and I'm sure I'll reread it sooner rather than later. I'm going to acquire the rest of her catalogue of writings and can only hope that one of them will come close to this gem. It really is a gift that will continue to give to those that choose to receive.
