Awesome message, but the movie itself? Really not that great. Something really unsettling about watching a spoiled millennial "find herself" while living with her parents, and after getting expelled from... art school. Unsettling in the sense that it just makes you mildly angry. Larson is so hit or miss for me, shes either an insufferable bully who cant crack a smile, or a genuinely compelling actress. One can absolutely pinpoint which of Larson's roles have taken a backseat to her NEED to push her politics and social views. Sadly Unicorn Store is one of those roles. There is so much potential here, I would love to write a longer review and touch on the many positives a but I am exhausted!
