Loved most of the series, except the very last episode. There were a few other moments that the king seemed unnecessarily cruel or painstakingly naive. The last episode, as in many of the Asian series I’ve watched, and I’ve watched a lot over multiple streaming platforms, wasn’t very exhilarating. First, why only show how the king longed for her in her absence, while she seemed determined not to return. They finally reached a point where their feelings were completely mutual and they were free from any obstacles to be together, yet when she returns, she avoids him and continues to dress like a man even though she could clearly return as herself and no one would have known. Then at the very end when it’s finally revealed that she really did miss him, there was absolutely no passion when they were reunited…bummer!
