Walk a mile in someone else's shoes. As Americans, I don’t think we fully understand or comprehend 1200 years of reigning monarchy. This institution, so steeped in tradition, propriety, and past history, while trying to maintain relevance by any means necessary. Humorous, interesting, and sad, this book is well written from Prince Harry's point of view. To me, this book read unflinching honest and real. So, although I recognize that many are appalled or uncomfortable by this book release, sometimes the only way to address systemic toxicity or encourage real change is to reveal it, and I believe that is what this book has accomplished. Whether or not any real change occurs, or if the institution or Family (at its heart this is a family) encourage dialog and take steps to address issues, and make relevant changes, remains to be seen. I sincerely appreciate the philanthropic work Prince Harry & Megan do, and pray for their continued success.
