The writing is actually really good, engaging and well-developed. The live-action blend with the cartoon and over the top graphics however takes away from anything remotely likeable. I get it's trying to be edgy and whatnot but it definitely deters a certain demography to lure another. Not my style of art, but a great script, would have loved to see this fleshed out as a full live-action series. In its current version, it's too busy and distracting, almost as if they are trying to make up for a weak script when the writing is the best part. Definitely caters to a certain niche and some will love it, others will have hard time following it.
