What I think about this apple made movie is that it doesn’t really tell you much about napoleon beside some things like his downfall, Waterloo and his relationship with his wife Josephine his first wife. Speaking about Josephine I and probably others think that the main part of the movie was based around it with more centered around his love life. And even when he got his new wife and had his new son it was more centered around like that was Josephine baby also. When in reality after he divorced her their relationship was not as strong and also spent more time with his son and current wife. I’m also going to point out how many love their where with Josephine and not his second wife. Now I am goin to say that napoleons second wife wasn’t really to much of a important person when it came to Napoleons feelings since she was only married to be give napoleon a wife who can give him an heir. But that is why she should be more of an important character or at least have more parts with her in them. Now I know that it is hard to fit an entire era of history into one movie but maybe we could fit more important things in the movie than just his love story and 3 battle's. Another thing is that they also only put 3 battles in the movie. Now I know it cost a lot to make a battle scene but that’s what your going to have to do if your making a movie about a general who fought in 62 battles and conquered all of Europe then maybe be prepared for that. Now I do know that the French are known for their culture that evolves much love which is why it was more of a romance movie so seeing that this is a stairio type this leaves me to think that the producers didn’t put much effort into the movie and problem went off what they know and some famous battles and put that all into one movie without putting any other battles that also had some more important prestige’s and glory. Also just like Barodino one of the most deadliest and important battles in the napoleonic wars was side lined and was made more like just a deadly battle. And also on Waterloo where much more effort was put in and to be honest I did like it but I wish they put more effort into his rise and put more battles in there with the same or more effort put in them going the same for more of the already battles put in. Overall I would give the movie a 2/5 of a star just for the acting and quality. I also think they could do better by putting more battles in there, and putting more into his rise and early major famous battles. And not making it a love film.
