Reboots/remakes/re-imaging (whatevz) of older series are usually bad.
This one is not bad however there is A glaring problem.
Script/dialogue: Script isn't bad, dialogue is. Mainly the new characters.
The legacy characters and any character that is portrayed as "adult", speaks with the "willow-verse" cadence and inflection.
New characters speak in "2022 Gen Z"
That's jarring when Queen Sorsha speaks to her daughter, Kit.
The Script makes Kit insufferable and she nails it.
Willow-verse is highly tolerant and inclusive, cool.
Male leads are Betas, crooks or buffoons with talent, cool.
Willow isn't perceived by his peers as a great sorcerer after saving the realm, cool.
It's not a blatant cash grab.
It is a tv series.
