Aces Kaplan

This movie was made on some serious acid. It doesn’t take its self too seriously though, and surprisngly it has an ample serving of heart for a DCU film. An intelligent mash-up of star wars, blade runner, national treasure, every James Cameron movie, and the fight scene in anchorman. You get to see Nicole Kidman stab a man in the heart with a trident. She definitely was thinking of Tom Cruise the entire time. The big flaw is having it take place after Justice League. If you have Superman and Wonder Woman in your contacts list, a bunch of fish people really wouldn't stress you too much, even if one is Ivan Drago. Get a little high, see this movie on the biggest screen you can, and enjoy yourself.
