I'll take a page from Dan Dennet's book and say this: Dave Rubin is more in love with the IDEA of discussing ideas, rather than actually doing just that. I'm half way through this book and unfortunately Dave hasn't said anything you can't find on his Twitter, or from listening to any interview with him. He doesn't talk about any of the people that popularised classical liberalism, he doesn't represent his opposition accurately and there isn't much discussion at all (the foreign policy section of this book is 2 pages). I struggle to see who this book is targeted for (non-Rubin, apolitical types will find this book very strange, whilst current fans will find this all-too-familiar) or even why it was written. Just stay away.
