Laykus Woods

Not scary at all. Nothing wrong with that, but don’t go expecting a scare. Good cinematography. Mostly great casting. Music was fine, nothing wrong with it but didn’t stand out. Not much development or motivic material. Ending is a bit cliche and predictable but it serves the story. Almost turns into a coming of age Disney Pixar film like big hero 6 or something like that. Again nothing wrong with it, served the story fine and made sense. Some weird passing and odd scenes (suggest script rewrites, a few continuity issues but eh). Almost an hour of set up, 20 minutes of complication and about 10 minutes of resolution. Overall a fine movie and I would recommend but don’t have high hopes. I enjoyed this 4.5/10
