There's a LOT of controversy on the ratings on here, but personally, this movie was just a loop of unexpected and deep, realistic feelings. The plot itself isn't one blank sentence detailing some insane and edge of the seat thriller, it just gets deep at a lot of it. I personally, love the aesthetics and the blandness because it speaks volumes of the piece.
There is no filler or fluff with the characters spending decades on small talk and the scenes feel personal and hidden, of which is the whole point of this.
It is a modern masterpiece as a whole. Yes, if you start picking apart its bones and separating it all it changes things, however, I only wish I could watch it again for the first time many times over. The depth gave it heart, with the antagonist and the small details placed around.
