Encountered this book during my first major adult crisis. Mr Bridges introduced me to a new name for chance... God. "God’s providence is His constant care for and absolute rule over all His creation for his own glory and the good of His people. Again, note that the absolute terms: constant care, absolute rule, all creation. Nothing, not even the smallest virus, escapes His care and control."

Which is important to know that our suffering isn't for nothing. Suffering is actually good for MANY reasons. This is a great book when you're looking for good answers when tragedy strikes.
