Honestly i didn't think this show was very interesting. The characters were so bland and uninteresting that i didn't bother to learn their names other than moiraine, Lan and Rand. For a show based on a series of novels with such a deep mythology and being such an important part of the fantasy genre the show doesn't hold up. I had no empathy or care for the characters, there was no interesting arc, the plotting was sparse and crawled along. There were some cool shots, cinematography, the music was well done (not memorable), there was some good acting, but it hits every uninteresting, stereotypical mediocre fantasy trope and the script and dialogue was sub par again hitting the same tropes. I've read and watched huge fantasy/sci-fi series such as LOTR, The Hobbit, The silmarillion, all Song of Ice and Fire and Dune. And i give everything i read and watch a fair chance. This series just didnt hold up for me. I almost feel bad for Rosamund Pike, who is incredibly talented, for holding the weight of this series on her back. This is only my opinion, i hope people did enjoy it and respect the fact if they did.
