This book takes the inchoate thoughts I have had for the past three(?), five(?), ten(?) years about the shift in cultural divisions, anti-science and anti-expertise and helps it finally coalesce. Some sections took me a long time to work through because of their distressing nature, but it’s well worth the time and energy. This may be the first important book to come out of the pandemic.
