Good movie, few good jumpscares, pacing was weird though. Seems like a lot of the negative reveiws fall in to one of two categories: the people who are letting their religous beleifs influence their opinion on this movie (without spoilers, the film doesnt necessarily portray this popular beleif system in a negative way, but they sure aren't the "good guys" in this movie.), or people who are so attatched to the original that their mind is closed off to anything new. I would say its worth a watch in theaters.
