Has the word formulaic been used to describe this whole enterprise? Undoubtedly. One would have thought that with all the money they've made over the years the folks making these films could come up something more imaginative than this. It's entertaining enough, I suppose, but my lord it is trite. Even the theme song by Eilish seems to be pulled from the ashes so forgettable is its approach. My one hope is that Bond's offspring comes in as the first 007 female.
