While I typically love listening to a Beyoncé song that comes up on my Spotify list, I wouldn’t by any means call myself a die hard fan. I also wouldn’t consider myself a « fan » of country. This album has changed my perspective on both. It is not just beautiful and thoughtful and thought provoking. It’s actually brilliant. Beyonce weaves a historical tale meant for anyone who enjoys elements country :blues, jazz pop as well as the emotional elements: sorrow, happiness and love, pride. This album strikes a chord with everyone and bound to shake free haters (as recent news articles suggest) Bravo, beyonce unlike many of her contemporaries just keeps getting better! A musical treat.
