When I started this movie, I could tell that the acting was not great. And when I saw that Jack Dylan Grazer was in it, I thought at least I know he can act. NOPE! He was just as bad as the rest of the cast. I was going to let it slide because I thought that this movie was really old and that he was just young but I cannot tell you how SHOCKED I was when I learned that this movie was released just two months before IT, a movie that I love with a passion and that Jack does amazing in. I don’t know what was going on with Jack in this movie, maybe it was just the script. I also don’t know why he looks so young, he’s playing an 11 year old and he was 13 at the time, I was genuinely convinced that he was actually 11, that’s why I thought the movie was older and why his acting wasn’t that good, but in IT, he’s 14, and looks like he does now, 16 years old. Maybe it’s because the script is better and it’s a more mature role. Anyway, I don’t like the movie, I’m definitely not hating on any of the actors so don’t come for me. I think it had the potential to be a really good movie, it just needed the right tweaking. 🤷‍♀️
