It was disappointing to see the same couple actors play the fans until they were made to run amok in ludicrous Halloween costumes.
Indigenous people exist predominantly in the southern most region of Mexico. While one may encounter dancers showcasing the rich culture, one is unlikely to encounter individuals with traditional Aztec/Toltec etc attire as in England there aren't groups of people sporting garbs from 500+ years ago throughout their daily routine.
It could've been a magnificent opportunity to show some of natural beauty that Mexico has to offer but it mostly focused on what came off as degrading to innocent passerbys.
It answers the question on how can a production offend the largest Spanish speaking country with blatant racism in while pretending to embrace it.
Both lead actors still have a long way to go, the grandfather was the only credible participant not forced.
