Gah what. No plot. Little dialogue. All monologue, boring boring monologue. How has this idea made it to a movie set, I'm amazed - a lot of people have at some point agreed this would make a good movie. No. Absolutely not. This was oh so dull. No ending! A24 don't do endings anymore, they just made a decision about 10 years ago that endings are out, forget it, no conclusion for you, na ah, not getting one.

Another A24 movie with no ending.

I could only manage an hour! Gah the boredom of it all. Napoleon entering and exiting different rooms, saying a few boring things, cycle starts again, same thing. I have only ever walked out of a cinema on one other occasion. What a disappointment. Dull.

Felt really unsatisfied when this film ended. If you live in the UK by the coast, we have some dicey spicy seagulls native to these areas - now these gulls will whip a sandwich, pasty, chip, ice cream out of your hands in seconds, often whapping you around the back of the head with one of their wings for good measure - just so you know you've been robbed! Now, that frustrated, unsatisfied, disappointed feeling is the only comparable emotion I have, to try to share how I felt come the end of Beau Is Afraid. It just makes you feel uncomfortable, uneasy, confused and a little bored.
