Okay so, it didn't take very long for me to size up this series. I choose it because I enjoy survival type situations but soon realized it was more about how her past made her who she is...blah, blah, blah... anyhow, hubby and I had quite quite a few laughs. Ditto on what everyone else said about her ridiculous lung capacity, super human ability to survive and thrive on a handful of berries, no fear of grizzlies... all that. It's when she apparently buried Sam. Well, if you've ever tried to dig a hole in the woods, even a small one, even with a good sturdy shovel, it will take you hours and lots of work. Roots and rocks will greet you at every shovelful. Yet she was able to dig a hole, apparently with a branch or her hands, big enough to bury a large man. And where is the residual earth? Okay enough said on that. Blackflies, the Canadian north is full of them. Not one bite. Hmm, I guess her flawless make-up has some anti-bug properties. Also, lake water is extremely cold up there. No hypothermia for her. Amazing. Anyhow, haven't finished watching the series and don't think I will unless I want a few good laughs.
