Marvelous movie- visually stunning, beautiful costumes and locations and musically stimulating. However, the actor playing Louis XVI was a very poor choice. The real king was 6’4” and this guy is 5’ 6”. Jason’s Louis is vapid, lifeless, a mere prop, and a comical at that when standing next to a taller queen. His ‘acting’ is weird and amateurish.
