I was decidedly underwhelmed. It was an indulgent, slow slog of reverential moments between iconic actors which moved so slowly that even their artistry was lost. I kept dozing and was told I missed very little. So much could have been edited to savor moments, but it appeared as if no one had the ability to sacrafice anything for the sake of the whole. I am so terribly disappointed since I usually love anything this ensemble and director do. I would normally look forward to seeing their work numerous times. This one however, was hard to get through once. Three and a half hours? Really? Pity.
