I'm struggling to get through the second season, simply because I've started it and I want to finish it. But this is truly NOTHING like The House of Payne. I'm not quite sure what happened, and even if it's the same writers. It's simply not funny, in one episode Ella tells Curtis to "hush" "hush" "hush", i swear for over ten minutes! There's NO substance at ALL, it's like whomever, was clueless on the writing aspect. Hardly any conversation, just Ella fussing at Curtis or Curtis (acting like a 3 old old child) fussing at Ella. I finally noticed today (after finding this on Hulu that it was done in 2018), so I decided to do research to find out what happened after season 2. Seems there was nothing after season 2 and i can definitely understand why!
