This was a very bad remake. The family was a mixed race couple—NOT Done in the time period. Either have the couple be all of one race—black or Hispanic or white. But not mixed. DON’T CHANGE HISTORY!!! Put it in a modern time period if you want to have a mixed race. The story could remain the same. The music was awful. Nothing to remember for even a second after it was sung. A tune in a show should have easy to remember phrases that you might sing to. Not some piece of garbage! The original songs were great and memorable. These were trash before even started. THIS IS NOT A DISNEY quality movie. Fire all but the animations. They did a wonderful job.
