Loads of factual details that ring true today. The police lied in their reporting, documents hitherto unknown, tracked down by the author only to discover that they had been redacted back in the 1890's, and newspaper articles which span out of control. You only need to look at our recent government involvement in the Iraq war, the lies the newspaper headlines chanting 'weapons of mass destruction' which of course never existed, the misrepresented facts surrounding 9/11 attacks etc etc. Boris Johnson, Trump and media mogals. Nothings changed. Previous Ripper experts who have only relied on those police reports and newspaper headlines of the time have muddied the waters!!!

Always love listening to new sounds, however QOTSA are very very commercial and for me that's my beef with this band. Just be braver, stronger, harder. Have they never listened to CARDIACS or Sleept time Gorilla Museum?!

Fantastic sound track, simple powerful visualsbut rather a case of the emperor's new clothes (pun intended). Like a massive slice of chocolate cake that looked fab to begin with, but now umpteen fork fulls later you feel is clogging up ones arteries, Dune sadly excels at over doing it again and again and doesn't live up to all the expectations hung on it's sandy shoulders. 4 out of 10
