This is such a well put together and thought out book. In my humble opinion, my mother, being British, I was very interested in reading the book! As my mother always told me stories about the queen, and all the Granger. This book truly sheds a light on the darkness and sadness and truths behind the real goings-on of day-to-day life, and what it’s like to be a royal. My mother lived in America since age 26. My grandmother lived in Middlesborough England through the war. She may bullets. My mother lived in Middlesboro. When bombs were dropped by the Germans. Luckily, they did not go off, or I would not be here! Ha ha. My mother was a true Brit until the end. (She lived in America after marrying my father) Sadly, she passed away at age 83 back in 2008. I can’t imagine how any family could’ve tolerated what Megan and Harry we’re going through and not be rallying behind them. I don’t read a lot of books and completely admit that. But if there was one book you were gonna read this year, it would be this one. Especially if you enjoy British history as I do. I always loved, as I believe everyone did, his mom, princess Diana. How terribly, poorly and sadly she was thrown to the wolves by the same family that has now done the same to this poor boy. Just my humble opinion. But he is righted his own ship with his beautiful wife by his side. I have to say I always had enjoyed her on the TV show Suits. It’s unfortunate. She couldn’t of returned and finished. I’m glad to see the two of them, or make that four of them now with their two young children, much more grounded, and enjoying life as one should. We all only get one life. LIVE IT AND LOVE IT AND ALL THOSE WHO’S LIVES YOU TOUCH!!! I know for certain that Princess Diana would be proud. And forever, I will throw shame at the monarchy, and at the man who is now King. He and his son (Prince William) deserve living the life that they do. Every time I look at Kate and Williams life, I think how sad a life they truly will always be living. Tolerating.
