The acting from Elizabeth and Penn as the two main protagonists is superb and Luca as Paco was incredible and moving in his portrayal of a young sad boy with a tragic existence. It is a strange feeling to be at times actually rooting for the sociopath, to be glad when he “resolves” some of the other sociopaths and broken people in this series. The dichotomy between his hideous deeds and his good ones, his flawed intellect. I thought at first this was going to be yet another story about rich and privileged American young adults trying to justify their shallow existence by adding the “texture” of being capable of liking and knowing more “real” people....it was pleasantly much more than that. Hard to stop watching “You”.
