I knew this was a melodrama going in because of all the reviews/commentary online (and even more comments on the Japanese version starring KimuTaku)
So it took me a while to find the energy to watch this (since I had been craving bubble gum romcoms the past month)
Anyway. I'm so glad I decided to give this drama a try even though I thought I knew how it was going to end.
Basically, you think you know how it will end, and the ending will prove you wrong
It was soooooo much more involved than what drama-veteran me had imagined.
Also, the spoilers on Wikipedia (don't read the article if you want to watch it -- I made the mistake of doing so and knew stuff I didn't want to know) only cover up to like halfway so everything after is so good to see with your own eyes. Plot twists here and there.
Because I knew this was going to be sad, I wasn't crying as much
but the last few scenes really really got me bawling and screaming at my computer.
Stick to the end. The story is beautiful (but remember to have a box of tissues nearby) and will have you see how evil some people can be, yet how there is still good in this world.
The acting in here was also superb.
