21st Century anachronisms galore... modern interior fittings & finishes, exterior modern sidewalks badly disguised, modern brick & concrete buildings, modern glazing & in the final scene modern strip light fittings are clearly visible on the ceiling (albeit they had at least removed the neon tubes)!
Why did I notice all this?
Because it was so much more interesting than the movie.
The direction & photography were awful, the editing even worse. The script was lazy & predictable & none of the actors were even trying to take their performances seriously. Who can really blame them?
Not a single redeeming feature.
The only star rating was for the horses, whose performances were generally better than the cast - except for the hands & legs of the person behind & holding the mired horse in the opening scene & the obvious hobble around the hoof of the lame, dying horse at the near end (oops!)
