This game completely lies to you about it's actual plot. I went into it blindly, only knowing what the game description told me. The floorboards creaking, the heavy storm, and the constant notes and such you can find talking about ghosts and poltergeists had me hooked and feeling unsettled in a spooky setting. It sets itself up as a scary, 'my family is missing' kind of story, but in reality, that was only to keep people interested until they could shove the actual plot in your face. It's a coming out of closet story, and the horror aspect it sets up is a front to try and trick people into playing it. Thanks for being dishonest with the players. Glad it was on Xbox game pass and I didn't waste money on it.
