Really enjoyable coming-of-age movie, that is buoyed by strong performances from the vast majority of the cast, particularly Olivia Cooke and Thomas Mann. There aren't all that many films that explore the experiences of young people with family/friends who are dealing with cancer, but Me and Earl and the Dying Girl offers up an accurate perspective on how difficult it can be to have someone in your life fighting the disease. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys coming-of-age movies.
