I saw this movie trailer in Tubi, I decided to give it a chance. I am not very fond of white/black movies, there are few classics I did enjoy to watch. The synopsis is quite of my ally, so I am glad that I gave it a chance. The story goes two sisters who are very opposite in character and living in the same wealthy home: Marianne a very modern "feminist, independent liberal, drove to business, she is ahead of her times, spoiled and not afraid to pursue what she wants. While Marghetire is more conservative, dependant (even though at the end she finds herself)complies more with norms of the times, nice gentle soul. Everything starts with a father and son moved to the house next door. Marianne already eyeball the son(Williams) through her window. Marianne finds an excuse to see the neighbors next doors and brings along with his sister. The moment William meets the two sisters, he falls in love with Marghetire. Even though Marianne is aware of Williams feelings with Marghetire, she still persists to conquer the love of William. Marianne convinced his father to help /Pay for Williams 's career navy. In one Asian trip Williams bought a gift to Marghetire at gift store with a small note that he is going to her father for marriage. Later the same day The Chinese lady, the seller of the gift store, made advances to Williams, of course Williams accepted her flirtatious (so much love with Marghetire), he ended up in the middle of nowhere, no clothes no identification and missed the navy ship .That day will determine the destiny of his life will spin 180°. Now no more spoiler alerts. There are few twist in every human being life. This movie teaches Love is ephemeral if it isn't properly feed. When William heavenly drunk sent a note and mistakenly wrote the wrong sister to ask for marriage. I think Williams was a fond Of Marianne, but somehow he was infatuated with young love with Marghetire. In fact IMHO William never love any of the sisters, because if he loved so much Marghetire if he wouldn't have fooled around with the Chinese lady. I dislike William and Marianne characters, birds of feather flock together. Two characters alike Marghetire and William's business partner who was always in love with Marianne.
