By the end of the first series, I found myself liking the characters and their development more than I did in the books.
The characters have a more likable persona, that adapts to their surroundings better than the book characters, at least what I read in the book characters.
I feel the combination of the two media is a positive thing, I'm getting a better feel for the characters then in the books, and I'm hoping that translates to a better read in the next book published.
That said, if the two go separate ways, so be it, I've enjoyed both so far. But I hoping they continue to contribute to each other, and expand the viewers/readers experience.
(That touchy, feely enough? Usually I'm kind of a a** about stuff like this. But I've enjoyed both books, and video media.)
Thanks Karin.
