Best game to come out in 2024. This game is now up there with the best action RPGs - Bloodborne, God of War, Sekiro, Ghosts of Tsushima, Elden Ring, and Lies of P. First off, if you do not like any of the games up above, you may not like this game. Also it is more like Bloodborne, Sekiro, or Lies of P than God of War or GoT. If you are looking for a narrative based or open world combat rpg, this is not that game. If you do not like challenging boss battles, save your money, this game is not for you. You will need good reflexes and timing to be able to get through this. This is for people that like challenging Soulslike games. What this game excels at is the combat, which is hella smooth, engaging, and so damn cool. Some of the most fun I have had with boss battles in any game. Right up there with FromSoft bosses and Lies of P. Some bosses may be very difficult. This game has its own flavor that stands out from all the other games in the genre. Also this is probably some of the best graphics and art direction I have seen on an action RPG to date. Granted I am playing this maxed out with a 4090 with Rtx hdr on an Alienware aw34dwf oled. Visuals are absolutely stunning! My Game of the Year for 2024.

Love love love soulslike games. Have played most of fromsoft- sekiro, bloodborne, elden ring, ds3, des, and some not fromsoft- lies of p, code vein, steelrising, remnant. Always looking for a good souls game. I was initially interested in this game because the art style looked badass, but did not buy this it because of the bad reviews. But I decided to bite the bullet seeing it half off on a steam sale… And boy am I glad I did. Most of the bad reviews are from performance issues. For the performance issue, it is non-existent on pc now. Buttery smooth 80-100 fps maxxed out on a high-end pc. Never crashed once. This is without a doubt the best looking soulslike to date. Graphic fidelity is in a class of its own and art direction is as good as Sekiro and Elden Ring. Difficulty is just right, not the hardest soulslike but not the easiest either. The combat is a lot of fun. Super smooth movement and camera. Now I will say its not perfect… lock on needs a tad bit more fine tuning and the dodge sometimes dodges forward instead of backward which can be frustrating, but if those two things get fixxed, combat will be perfect. This is without a doubt one of the best soulslike. Right up there with sekiro, bloodborne, and lies of p. Definitely worth your time and money, this studio put out an amazing game. An absolute gem.
