This is the movie that pulled me in to the Asian movie obsession. This is also where I first fell in love with Chris Wu. I've watched other movies since this one with Chris and I'm never disappointed. What an actor. I also learned that these movies show that everyone doesn't rush to blame someone else for something that they're blamed for but are actually innocent. The story was deeply moving. Benny Wen was adorable and showed such talent for a young boy. The lead actress was beautiful, demure and enchanting. The lead actor portrayed his role perfectly. I'll never forget the scene with him chasing the car wearing his hospital gown. I found this movie to be deeply moving, romantic, sad, alluring and more. When asked why I watch so many Asian movies, this movie comes to mind and I tell them the story and then my peers want to watch it. I'm so glad I was part of the "audience" for this tale of love and of healing and coming together. 10 Stars!!

I was skeptical because this drama wasn't rated very high (80's). I decided to watch it because of the story line. I am SO glad I did. I would recommend this drama to everyone looking for a good cast, good story line, and all around drama that makes you laugh out loud and cry just as loud. I grew to love the male lead as the story progressed. The characters from the main roles to the supporting cast (friends, parents, etc) were great. Please don't let the rating stop you from watching, or you'll regret you did.

This movie is a must see. I cried, laughed, screamed at certain scenes and in the end thoroughly enjoyed the experience. How all people, regardless of their original country, strive with the same issues, face the same problems, doubts, obstructions. This showed you can be and do what you want. It also showed to forgive others so it will let you be forgiven as well and to go after what you want, to take that risk. I recommend this movie to everyone. The characters are so spot on, the story line twists and turns, but it ends the way their journey was meant to.

At first you're thinking these character don't match up and it's a little slow. BUT the movie gets better and better. The "pleasing" of others (i.e. parents) for your life choices is just one of the obstacles. As the character grows in confidence and abilities (as well as age), these obstacles become little speed bumps in the road to adulthood and dreams come true. All the characters portrayed their parts remarkably well and you were kept entertained. As with any story, you liked parts, you didn't like parts, but in the end all ends well. I recommend this movie to those needing to see first love and life choices of the young and innocent.

Keep a box of tissues handy. This wasn't what I expected. It'd been described to me as more of a comedy. One of the BEST dramas I have watched. Such profound words are spoken by all the characters. The cast did a fantastic job in their parts. I cried so much but I wouldn't stop watching. I truly loved this drama, it was something that hit home so to speak. If you want a good drama with an excellent story line and cast, please watch this, you won't regret it. Don't forget to get the tissues, though! This would make you really think about after -life and all the "what-ifs" that we sometimes ask ourselves. Just watch it, you won't regret one minute!!

This is an award winning drama, it's definitely a must watch. I enjoyed the characters, the story (no the stories) told, the scenery, the suspense, just everything. I didn't want this to end, I felt I could watch more. I wanted to watch the years between the graduation and wedding to the interview. I do wish there had been a wedding scene (scenes) for Deok-sun and Choi Taek. This embodied childhood friendships that were life time commitments, young and older adults. Everyone's fears, dreams, hopes, ups and downs were beautifully captured. The families were so real and one could relate to so many of the situations, such as money, lack of money, being the smartest and being brilliant but not smart. I can't say enough good things about this movie, I loved it and think a Reunion would be a great movie plot.
