Ken Tannenbaum

I do not understand the problem some have with the casting and acting. I believe the tale is well told, well acted and thorough. That is in color and not filmed in the noir style does not detract from its eloquence. There are few films telling this story, too few perhaps. Try this one.

Having read the book I was wary of a cheap imitation, but it was surely not. The cast was sublime and the production values high.

This is poignant, this is heartfelt, this is well cast, this is well acted. Sappy? Perhaps, but that’s trivial.
