Ann Darlington

This was one of my least favourite novels in the Strike series. I found the transcripts of the online conversations bitty and difficult to follow, especially when they were duplicated on the kindle version. The number of characters and their social media pseudonyms were hard to keep track of. The only thing that stopped me giving up was a curiosity to find out how the relationship between Robin and Strike developed. The interactions between the two main characters are always beautifully written and I'm sure I'll be reading future sequels to find out whether they finally get together!
