This show is mostly stellar. What I will say is that I love most of the show, especially the actal plot episodes, but there is so much filler and early on I wouldn't be suprised if the show originally intended to have a younger target audience due to the rinse repeat formula of adventure followed by sad music apologies and a spelled out lesson. Season two and late season one got much better with that problem, but it's still there. Another problem I have is Ivy and Sprigg, not because it's a kids show, but because I felt they undermined the entire episode about them being forced together just to add a romance. I'm aromantic and I was really happy that they were just going to have a strong friendship before being immediatly dissapointed. Anne is also kind of selfish at first for someone who just got taken in by an already poorer family. That's all teh negative I can think of and the show is still 4 stars because that plot is so interesting and layered and nothing feels unnatural and that season 2 finish was so shocking for a kids show.
