Wonderful plot but not developed in a believable way. The red headed child was the only actor who seemed to have genuine emotions. What could have been great drama came across as infantile melodrama. To make things worse the musician actors too obviously didn’t know how to play their instruments. To say that the lead characters had communication dysfunctions is an understatement. Then there is the flat affect of the dubsters. I watched the whole film and came to realize just how good it could have been with a bit of refinement. I really wanted to enjoy the film but ended up grinding my teeth. That said I would watch it again if these details were addressed. I must say I read the many positive reviews and wish I too could have enjoyed it as they did. Alas my wife slept through most of the film.
