This show is disrespectful and a disappointment to the amazing book universe rick riordan has created. It is not racist to want the characters to fit or match with their appearence in the books. People say that it doesn't matter since they fit the character well but they don't. Percy seems even more stupid and clueless than he does, grover Seems to lack emotion overall and Annabeth just does not seem to fit the way she does in the books. Apart from the horrific casting, the show blatantly messes up with the scenes several time and abandoning the book entirely. They messed up getting the shield for ares, the entire underworld, the lotus hotel and the scene on olympus. Also, the gods in this. They are supposed to be GODS. No offense to the actors, but they can appear in any way they want, and the ways they are depicted makes them seem overall weak. Even the failure movies bef9re this were better just because of the casting. Percy has BLACK HAIR Annabeth IS WHITE AND BLONDE AND GROVER IS WHITE WITH BROWN HAIR. Being inclusive is not an excuse to destroy and ruin such important and iconic figures.
